Pavan Pidugu

Pavan Pidugu is the Chief Digital & Information Officer of the U.S. Department of Transportation. Before entering federal service, he spent more than a decade leading technology transformation at Target, NCR, and Walmart, where he learned that technology only matters when it changes what a customer or employee actually experiences.

At FMCSA he inherited systems that had gone roughly two decades without meaningful investment and delivered rapid, measurable modernization — work colleagues credit with creating safer roads and reducing fatalities.
